Henry Clay and Bryan Station are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Henry Clay Blue Devils will square off against the Bryan Station Defenders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Henry Clay's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.

Last Tuesday, Henry Clay was able to grind out a solid victory over Frederick Douglass, taking the game 83-72. The win was all the more spectacular given the Blue Devils' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Broncos are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Bryan Station made easy work of Scott County on Tuesday and carried off a 73-48 victory. The Defenders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Henry Clay is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points over those games. As for Bryan Station, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5.

Henry Clay came up short against Bryan Station when the teams last played back in January, falling 64-56. Can Henry Clay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
