Basketball Recap: Comeaux Comes Up Short

Comeaux lost against Rayne back in November of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Comeaux Spartans took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rayne Wolves. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Comeaux's record now sits at 7-17. As for Rayne, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Comeaux wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-39 victory against David Thibodaux on the 13th. As for Rayne, they have also already played their next matchup, a 54-29 defeat against St. Thomas More on the 13th.
