After losing to Rockwood the last time they met, McMinn Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chargers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2.

McMinn Central hit Rockwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angel Mercado, Quinton Grueber, and Damian Jaimes.

The victory got McMinn Central back to even at 4-4-1. As for Rockwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McMinn Central will challenge Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something McMinn Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rockwood, they will take on Eagleton College & Career Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
