It was a proper cat-fight when Circleville faced off against New Lexington on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 7-3 win over the Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Circleville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for New Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Circleville will venture away from home to challenge Westfall at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for New Lexington, they will challenge Logan Elm at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
