For the second straight game, Northridge will face off against Bountiful. The Knights will take on the RedHawks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Northridge came up short against Bountiful on Friday, falling 8-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Bountiful's part, Ella Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Miller has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, McKinley Duryea was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aimee Moore, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Bountiful kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matches.

Bountiful pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average this season. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Northridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314. However, it's not like Bountiful struggles in that department as they've averaged .382. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
