Soccer Game Preview: Eisenhower vs. Seneca

Eisenhower is 0-10 against Seneca since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Knights will square off against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Eisenhower and Iroquois had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights fell just short of the Braves by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Eisenhower have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Seneca waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Beavers a 7-0 shutout. With that victory, Seneca brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Corry from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Lucas Hoffman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Seneca, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Eisenhower might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Seneca in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
