Softball Recap: North Oldham Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin County, North Oldham was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the South Oldham Dragons a 3-0 shutout. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

The result came thanks to KADIE BOSEMER (2026)'s shutout, as she gave up just five hits.

On the hitting side, North Oldham secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was CAMPBELL WHITE (2027), who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. PALMER WHITE (2030) was another, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

North Oldham now has a winning record of 11-10. As for South Oldham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. North Oldham will venture away from home to challenge Simon Kenton at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Oldham, they will challenge Oldham County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
