Softball Recap: Pittsburg Comes Up Short

Pittsburg fell victim to Sulphur Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Wildcats. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Sulphur Springs, they pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pittsburg will face off against rival Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sulphur Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe North Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
