Recap: Pendleton Heights Arabians vs. Muncie Central Bearcats
The Pendleton Heights Arabians lost against the Muncie Central Bearcats back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pendleton Heights fell to Muncie Central 53-48.
Several Arabians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aaron Cookston, who scored seven points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Sims, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Brady McNabb was a one-man wrecking crew for Muncie Central as he scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals. Lj Strange was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Pendleton Heights has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Muncie Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton Heights will take on Mississinewa at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Muncie Central, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Harrison at 8:00 p.m. on February 9th. Harrison is coming into the match with three straight losses on the road, meaning Muncie Central will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
