Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bryant). They enjoyed a cozy 89-71 win over the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Gryphons: they've now won seven in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bryant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rj Young, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. What's more, Young also posted five assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Kellen Robinson was another key player, going 14-for-27 en route to 32 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Bryant smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Bryant pushed their record up to 17-9 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points over those games. As for Little Rock Southwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
