Hickman County hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost five straight ) but thanks in part to Kayleigh Gordon that streak is no more. The Bulldogs came out on top against the East Hickman County Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Gordon, who had 23 digs and one assist. Gordon is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

While Hickman County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: East Hickman County scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 24-26, 25-21.

The victory got Hickman County back to even at 7-7. As for East Hickman County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hickman County will venture away from home to take on Dickson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Hickman County, they will take on Hampshire at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
