Softball Recap: Santa Rosa Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mora, Santa Rosa was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 12-9 victory over the Logan Longhorns. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Santa Rosa got a massive performance out of Leah Moncayo, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits Moncayo has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Angelina Silva, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-4.

Santa Rosa now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Logan, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
