Volleyball Recap: Gilmer Takes a Loss

Gilmer lost against Tyler Legacy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buckeyes came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-20.

Macy Stocks paced Gilmer's offense, picking up nine kills. Stocks got some help from Brooke Collie and her 12 assists. Stocks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Gilmer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Gilmer will look to defend their home court on Friday against All Saints Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. As for Tyler Legacy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Whitehouse on the 12th.
