Basketball Game Preview: Fresno Christian Eagles vs. Ridgeview Wolf Pack

The Fresno Christian Eagles will challenge the Ridgeview Wolf Pack at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fresno Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Ridgeview likes a good challenge.

Fresno Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against McLane by a score of 64-53. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Highlanders are ranked 567th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview posted their biggest victory since January 16th on Wednesday. They blew past Sierra Pacific 78-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolf Pack.

Fresno Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.5 points over those games. Ridgeview's win bumped their record up to 12-15.

Fresno Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Ridgeview in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 55-42. Does Fresno Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ridgeview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
