It was a good run, but Montgomery Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result was an unpleasant reminder to them of the 14-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Montgomery Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Creek Wood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montgomery Central will take on Jo Byrns at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Creek Wood, they will venture away from home to face off against Dickson County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
