Baseball Recap: Dakota Valley Victorious

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Dakota Valley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Madison Bulldogs 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Noah Graham made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Drew Lukken was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Dakota Valley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4.

As of now, neither they nor Madison have any future games scheduled.
