Basketball Recap: Winooski Drops Highest Score of Season Against Twinfield

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winooski). They skirted past the Twinfield Trojans 67-65. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Winooski has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Twinfield, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Winooski and Twinfield will both be playing Blue Mountain the next time they take the court. Winooski will head out to face Blue Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Twinfield will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
