Baseball Recap: Green Level Comes Up Short at Home Against Broughton

Green Level unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 13-4 to the Broughton Capitals on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Green Level saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Rower, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

The win got Broughton back to even at 1-1.

Green Level wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against Willow Spring on the 28th. As for Broughton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Apex on the 28th.
