Heritage hasn't had much luck against Loudoun County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Heritage Pride will be playing at home against the Loudoun County Captains at 7:15 p.m. Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, Heritage ended up a good deal behind Tuscarora and lost 67-48. The Pride were down 50-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Heritage saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Masyn Miller went 5 of 10 to rack up 15 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Roane, who went 5 for 11 en route to 11 points.

Meanwhile, Loudoun County had to suffer through a 69-41 loss at the hands of Broad Run. The Captains have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Loudoun County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Heritage came out on top in a nail-biter against Loudoun County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 45-43. Does Heritage have another victory up their sleeve, or will Loudoun County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
