Softball Recap: Ballard Starts Season with Victory Against Everett

Ballard took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Everett Seagulls 3-1.

Ballard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruby Wallblom, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Ballard will challenge Inglemoor at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Everett, they will face off against Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
