Volleyball Recap: Cedar Comes Up Short

Cedar had taken Crimson Cliffs down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Reds fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Reds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Cedar ultimately came up short, they really made Crimson Cliffs work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 26-28, 22-25, 15-9.

Lily Jones had an outrageously good game for Crimson Cliffs as she had 22 digs and four aces. What's more, Jones racked up seven assists, the most she's had since September 2nd.

Cedar's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Crimson Cliffs, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6.

Coming up, Cedar will be taking part in a tournament against Green Canyon at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will host Desert Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
