Football Game Recap: Howard vs. River Hill

Howard strolled past River Hill with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 22-7.

It took a quarter to shake off the cobwebs, but after three first-quarter points, the Howard offense picked up 19 points in the second quarter. Meanwhile, River Hill couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 22-0 heading into the break. Howard were outperformed in the second half 0-7 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The victory bumped their record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped River Hill's record to 3-2.

Next week Howard take on Long Reach at 7:00 PM. Those two teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for River Hill, they will face off against Centennial. Centennial are limping into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
