Bam Adebayo records double-double in McDonald’s All-American Game

High Point Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.) senior Edrice "Bam" Adebayo recorded a double-double Wednesday night in the prestigious McDonald's All-American Game played in Chicago.

Adebayo, a 6-foot-9, 250-pound Kentucky signee, scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds as his East team lost to the West 114-107.

The High Point Christian Academy star averaged 18.9 points and 13.0 rebounds for the Cougars in 2015-16. He is regarded as the No. 11 overall recruit in the 2016 class by 247Sports.



The McDonald's All-American Game is high school basketball's most prestigious postseason contest. Past participants include LeBron James, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan.
