Basketball Game Preview: Three Forks Wolves vs. Jefferson Panthers

The Three Forks Wolves are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge the Jefferson Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Three Forks made easy work of Anaconda and carried off a 70-49 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, Jefferson posted their biggest win since February 8th on Saturday. They put the hurt on Drummond with a sharp 68-47 victory.

Three Forks better focus on containing Tyler Frydenlund and Hunter Stevens as the pair were huge in Jefferson's win. Frydenlund posted 16 points and five rebounds, while Stevens earned 13 points along with eight boards and three steals. That's the most steals Stevens has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Geier, who put up six points and five rebounds.

Three Forks' record is now 2-0. As for Jefferson, their record now sits at an identical 2-0.

Three Forks couldn't quite finish off Jefferson in their previous meeting back in March and fell 50-48. Thankfully for Three Forks, Dalton Noble (who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
