Recap: Linn Wildcats vs. Eugene Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, the Linn Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Eugene with a sharp 56-35 win. The win was nothing new for Linn as they're now sitting on three straight.
Vivien Baker was a one-man wrecking crew for Linn as she dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Heslie Higginbotham, who scored 13 points.
Linn's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Eugene, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Linn will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eugene, they will head out on the road to take on the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boonville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Eagles likes a good challenge.
