Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Chiefs vs. Rock Port Blue Jays
Santa Fe extended their postseason success on Saturday against Rock Port. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Rock Port Blue Jays. Winning may never get old, but the Chiefs sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
One reason for the win was Santa Fe's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-11.
Mia Lark went supernova for Santa Fe, getting 26 digs. Lark has been hot , having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.
Santa Fe has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for Rock Port, they moved to 16-15-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
After both having extra time off, Santa Fe and Advance will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another on Friday. Santa Fe is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Rock Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
