Football Game Preview: Hudson Cobras vs. Palatka Panthers + Official Tickets

The Hudson Cobras are taking a road trip to take on the Palatka Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Hudson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Tenoroc get on the board and left with a 42-0 victory. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for the Cobras this season.

Hudson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Travis Williams Jr. and Chandler Moore. Hudson is 2-1 when Moore posts one or more interceptions, but 3-5 otherwise. Another thorn in Tenoroc's side was Chris Morillo, who picked up a sack, made six total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palatka). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Wolfson 52-20. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-6. As for Palatka, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-6.
