Volleyball Recap: Argo Comes Up Short

Argo lost against Shepard back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Argonauts fell 2-0 to the Astros. The Argonauts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Argo had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Argo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Shepard, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Argo is set to take on their familiar foe Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Shepard will challenge rival Bremen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
