Wren's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 57-36 margin over the Laurens Raiders. The Hurricanes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Wren's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keyana West, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lydia Wedgewood, who had five points in addition to six rebounds and four blocks.

Wren's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Laurens, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9.
