Volleyball Recap: Del Sol Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Del Sol can now relate to. They came up short against the Mojave Rattlers on Friday, falling 3-0. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rattlers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Tautai Malauulu paced Del Sol's offense, picking up seven kills. Malauulu got some help from Tracy Mcfarland and his 12 assists. Xander Besser controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Del Sol's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Mojave, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-13.

Del Sol does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mojave, they will challenge Basic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Rattlers surely won't give up without a fight.
