Volleyball Recap: Westmoreland Comes Up Short

Westmoreland was the 3-1 winner over Northumberland when they last played one another on October 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Indians on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-15.

Amani Baylor paced Westmoreland's offense, picking up four kills. Baylor got some help from Morgan Gooch and her five assists. Morgan Sichol controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Westmoreland's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Northumberland, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Westmoreland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Rappahannock on the 23rd. As for Northumberland, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Colonial Beach on the 23rd.
