Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. Marshall Barristers

Franklin is 0-6 against Marshall since March of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. Franklin will head out to take on Marshall at 4:30 p.m.

Franklin is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They fell 3-1 to Wilson.

The final score came out to 25-14, 26-28, 25-12, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Marshall was able to grind out a solid win over Bravo on Monday, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Barristers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17.

The win got Marshall back to even at 6-6. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Franklin suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Marshall in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Franklin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
