Softball Game Preview: Vacaville Bulldogs vs. Casa Grande Gauchos

The Vacaville Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Casa Grande Gauchos at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Vacaville didn't have enough. They fell 7-2 to American Canyon on Thursday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laila Dean made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Marissa Cueva also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, on Saturday Casa Grande's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Redwood.

Casa Grande's win bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Vacaville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
