If Tyler Legacy was riding high fresh off their 48-21 takedown of Tyler last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders received a blow on Friday as they fell 49-33 to the Marshall Mavericks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 55-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Tyler Legacy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Marshall, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
