Volleyball Recap: Hatch Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Hatch Valley and Chaparral meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lobos. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lobos earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 21-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Hatch Valley's record now sits at 3-7. As for Chaparral, their win ended an eight-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.

Hatch Valley and Chaparral will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bears see the court they'll take on Ruidoso at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Chaparral, their break will end when they face Valencia at 2:00 p.m. on the 11th.
