Basketball Game Preview: Panther Creek Catamounts vs. Jonesboro Cardinals

Having just played yesterday, the Panther Creek Catamounts will jump right back in to play the Jonesboro Cardinals at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Panther Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Jonesboro likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Panther Creek was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 61-55 to Columbia. The loss was the Catamounts' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Jonesboro ended up a good deal behind Dutchtown on Saturday and lost 67-51.

Having lost for the first time this season, Panther Creek fell to 5-1. As for Jonesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
