Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Marcus Marauders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Pumas have suffered since April 15, 2025.

Perry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Dekavallas, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Marcus, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Sunnyslope at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Marcus, they will welcome Mater Dei at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
