Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Botkins walked away with it. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 64-20 win over the Tri-County North Panthers. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Botkins' third in a row) raised their record to 17-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. As for Tri-County North, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

Coming up, Botkins will challenge Jackson Center at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Botkins knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Jackson Center likes a good challenge. Tri-County North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
