Soccer Recap: Karns Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Karns was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against the Powell Panthers, falling 4-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Karns of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Karns' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Powell, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Karns will face off against Seymour at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Powell, they will challenge Knoxville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
