Soccer Recap: Kewanee Takes a Loss

The Kewanee Boilermakers didn't have quite enough to beat the Pecatonica Indians on Saturday and fell 2-1. Kewanee have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jackson Price, which was the first he's scored this season.

Kewanee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pecatonica, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Kewanee will face off against Orion/Sherrard at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Kewanee their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Pecatonica, they will host Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pecatonica surely won't give up without a fight.
