Volleyball Recap: Bell Comes Up Short

Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garfield Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16.

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Garfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bell is set to challenge their familiar foe Huntington Park at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Garfield will face off against rival Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
