Softball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

After flying high against Escambia County last Thursday, Hillcrest came back down to earth. The Hillcrest Jaguars lost 16-1 to the Flomaton Hurricanes on Wednesday. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Hurricanes when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hillcrest now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Flomaton, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

While Hillcrest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
