Football Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 23-22 heartbreaker at the hands of the Schuyler Warriors. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Wayne lost, don't look at Taven Ocampo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 115 yards.
