Volleyball Recap: San Antonio Christian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when San Antonio Christian duked it out with O'Connor on Friday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-16.

San Antonio Christian's offense was headlined by Maggie Adkison and Sara Cleveland, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Annabelle Warren and her two assists.

Sydney Roth was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six digs and three aces.

San Antonio Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for O'Connor, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

San Antonio Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Boerne on the 15th. As for O'Connor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against United on the 15th.
