Oconomowoc came out on top against Fond du Lac on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run first inning. The Raccoons put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 11-1 win. The Raccoons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Oconomowoc pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fond du Lac, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oconomowoc will challenge Greendale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raccoons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Fond du Lac, they will face off against Neenah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
