Baseball Game Preview: Hilltop Lancers vs. Olympian Eagles

For the second straight game, Hilltop will face off against Olympian. The Lancers will take on the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The last four games Hilltop has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Hilltop narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Olympian 3-2. That's two games straight that the Lancers have won by just one run.

For Olympian's part, Grant Hill was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.

At the plate, Sebastian Diaz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Olympian and nudges their season record down to 13-7-1. As for Hilltop, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.
