After losing to Miami the last time they met, Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Grove Ridgerunners walked away with a 45-38 victory over the Miami Wardogs on Friday.

Miami lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lane Walther, who posted 14 points and four steals. Those four steals gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Waike Roblyer, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Grove has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Miami, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Grove has already played their next contest, a 70-45 win against Vinita on the 15th. As for Miami, they will challenge Hilldale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
