Basketball Game Preview: Limestone Rockets vs. Peoria Lions

Limestone hasn't had much luck against Peoria recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Limestone Rockets will get right back to it and host the Peoria Lions at 6:30 p.m.

Limestone is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They took a hard 65-50 fall against Normal University.

Meanwhile, Peoria waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rams, sneaking past 46-43. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Rams are ranked 89th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Peoria's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Limestone, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
