            The Holy Cross Knights will head out on the road to  take on  the Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
Holy Cross took a loss when they played away from home  on October 11th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  last Saturday. They took their  matchup  with ease, bagging  a  44-0 victory over Nazareth. That looming  44-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this  season.
Meanwhile, Mt. St. Michael Academy never let their opponents score on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Nazareth 35-0. The Mountaineers haven't had any issues with the Kingsmen recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
Mt. St. Michael Academy's win came from a few key players Holy Cross will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Victor Declet, who rushed for 157 yards and a pair of  TDs on only seven carries. Those  157  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Drew Diaz, who picked up 63 receiving yards and two  touchdowns.
 Mt. St. Michael Academy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 225  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.

 The  victory  got Mt. St. Michael Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Holy Cross, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
 Holy Cross strolled past Mt. St. Michael Academy in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024 by a score of  14-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
