Football Recap: Coronado Cougars vs. Canon City Tigers

Coronado fell victim to Canon City and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Canon City Tigers. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Thomas Buckmiller threw for 108 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. Hank Kelley was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards, while also rushing for 50 yards.

Pueblo East will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Canon City surely won't give up without a fight.
